This patient desired a very naturalistic look for her prosthesis. Notice the use of a putty matrix guide to define the porcelain build-up. This build-up guide is derived from the patient’s provisional prosthesis. Alternatively, after the metal or zirconia frame is completed, a full diagnostic wax-up can be done on the frame. This can be tried into the patient’s mouth to verify the final occlusal relationship and tooth esthetics. Shoji can then duplicate this in full detail.
